A clock displayed on the VJF screen would be useful for debugging.

Hi,
We don't really see the importance of such feature and even the reason of its use ? Could you please clarify ? where you wish to see that ? There is already time and date available in VJF interface when you run historical tester..

Watching the blocks being illuminated in real time (showing how far the flow goes before hitting a problem) is really useful. But if the candles are longer than a minute, then there's a lot of waiting and checking when the next candle comes. So a clock would avoid having to switch to the charts or another app to see how long to go before the next candle is going to appear.

Hi,
I recommend you to use historical tester instead of real time run: the reason is indeed much more faster, but as the speed is much more quicker it makes troubleshooting more difficult to locate "visually" where the problem sits. So one tool is really good to help you is the "Break point" available in the top right corner of each block: it will pause the strategy once the flow reaches the block in question and it helps a lot to debug variables and check conditions. In regards to the clock in real time run: you can either use Jforex clock (top right corner) or even your computer's clock.
Cheers
