Hello,
JForex already has "Live Economic Calendar", but its usability is rather low.
I strongly miss following features:
1. Visualization of events on charts. It would be very handy to show event markers on charts, most probably in the following way
- Event icons at the top (or bottom) of the chart to link event with the chart time
- ... with icon mouse-hover popup showing event details
- ... with icon mouse-click selecting that event in the table in "Live Economic Calendar"
- Toggle display of these icons in "Chart Layers" drop-down
- Take a look how this is done at [google finance]
2. Auto filtering of events in "Live Economic Calendar"
- Add "Auto-filter" toggle button to header of "Live Economic Calendar" - when it is pressed table should show only events related to current chart, for example with "EUR/USD" chart currently active table should show events for Eurozone (including major individual countries) and USD.

"Live Economic Calendar" on its own misses following features (some are available at
dukascopy economic_calendar)
- Add: Filtering by impact - low, med, high
- Add: Highlighting 'actual' and 'previous' with green/red color when above/below expectations
- Modify: Numbers with 'expected/actual/previous', which are the most wanted ones, are placed to far right and therefore hardly readable.
I would recommend reorganizing layout of columns so that typically watched information is placed nearby, for example in this order
- Event Date
- Currency/Country
- Event Period
- Actual/Expected/Previous (with color highlight)
- Event Description (i see it is multi-lane and each line corresponds to individual number)
- Event (name?)
- Event category
- ... i've attached mockup which shows the difference ...
- Add: "Yesterday/This week/Previous week/This month/Previous month" to already available date-range filters "Day ahead/Week ahead"
- Modify: in "Quick filter" and "Keywords" - handle 'ESC' keyboard button to clear the text in input box
