Dear support and other colleagues, in the standard pivot point indicator of the jforex platform the Hour periods are 1 and 4 hour period. Can someone of you add the periods for 2 and 8 Hours? I attach the code for the pivot point indicator. Thanks in advance

It is not impossible, of course. Support is (hopefully) busy with fixing bugs, or implementing new features. I am pretty sure that they won`t assist you on this. You rather take a look on the code, it is probably not too difficult to add more periods, as the base structure and data flow is already working fine. Or alternatively hire an external programers to do the job. See https://www.dukascopy.com/swiss/english/ ... /external/ for a list. Good luck!

Thanks tcsabina, I have already taken a look in the code, tried to change the code (Period.THIRTY_MINS);(Period.ONE_HOUR);(Period.FOUR_HOURS);....... with (Period.TWO_HOURS);(Period.EIGHT_HOURS); for example but unfortunately such strings don't exist.... Something other must be done , beyond this.

Yes, as they are not defined periods, it is not that easy to use them. For example for a strategy, you have to define a custom feed with the given period as Unit, etc. There are plenty of examples here in the forum about how to use custom periods for strategies. But how to do this for indicators? I don`t know and I haven`t found any references to indicator custom periods...
What you can do is to create a topic under Automated Trading->Knowledgebase. In this new topic describe again what you want to achieve, and what you have done so far. The support guys in that mentioned forum are quite fast in replies, and they always help.
