In version 2.24 / API 2.7.9 price-data are also stored in the java cache and the size of the cache is growing.
example:
network: URL https://www.dukascopy.com/datafeed/XAGUS ... _min_1.bi5 in Datei C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\57\41404cf9-3d5e185b-temp geschrieben
network: CleanupThread used 4 us
cache: Adding MemoryCache entry: https://www.dukascopy.com/datafeed/XAGUS ... _min_1.bi5

These files stay on the harddisk, even when clearing the java-cache. Java-Version 1.7.0_15.

Question:
- is the java caching neccessary for jforex ? (performance, diskspace, ....)
- can I periodically delete the java-cache manually ?
- jForex or java feature / bug ?

Best regards

Historical price data is not stored in the JAVA cache. You can delete JAVA cache manually as many times as you wish. It should not influence the performance very much.
