Greetings:
After converting and attempting to load this on JForex I received a ton of errors. Maybe this won't work on the JForex platform? I don't know.
Also, when running it on Metatrader the base lot size doesn't seem to be altereable. Every time I've reconfigured and saved the changes they look like they've been accepted, but then the EA does what it wants anyway.
Ideally, I'd like to start with $1,000 U.S.D. as the base. And if that could be altered by the user that would be even better.
Thanks.

The strategy converted fine for us. What errors did you receive? Strategy should be working fine withe the following parameters: to trade with lot size 1000 set AutoLots parameter "true" and Lots parameter to 0.001(millions).

I guess it's like going to the doctor -- when you get there you feel fine. The strategy loaded and is running without any indicated errors now. :::shrug::: Beats me.
I have the six highest turnover pairs loaded on one minute charts on MT4: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CAD and USD/CHF.
The EA runs pairs one-at-a-time. Sometimes it scalps so fast I can barely duplicate it manually on JForex.
A short time ago the MT4 EA opened an order on USD/JPY. The JForex strategy did not open that order.
I'm wondering if there's some setting I have to change on the JForex strategy. I've got individual, one minute charts open for each of those six pairs. But the pop-up has only EUR/USD checked.
I've only made the changes you were kind enough to suggest. Is there something else I need to do so it works with all the pairs?

To run same strategy with different instruments you need to open the strategy multiple times, change instrument in strategy parameters, and start each strategy instance.

I tried to use this for the strategy contest (my first time for that contest), but couldn't get it to work.
I wrote to support there and they replied, "Then ask on API forum to fix compilation errors and adjust strategy to the contest."
So, would you please be so kind as to help?
Thanks.

The strategy does compile and does run. In this forum we may adjust the MetaTrader code only if it does not compile or there is some run-time error. Please elaborate what further assistance do you need.

Please ensure that the strategy is opened as MT4: And that the file is openned as a strategy and not an indicator: It might be helpful if you screenshot or copy the error message here.

When I went to update the strategy on Dukascopy I received the following error message. Note, the first time I saved it as a java file. That didn't work. So, I saved it as described in the previous post. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Okay, I posted over in the correct forum.
About running this on the live account: can you see any reason it can't make a profit? In other words it always closes before a profit can be realized.
I'm running the MT4 version simultaneously and don't have this problem. It likes to scalp profitably.
Also, on the MT4 version as soon as one pair closes, another one can open, sometimes immediately.
On jForex once one pair closes everything closes and doesn't start up again. I have to manually restart each one. Note, this is for running four pairs.
Any idea why that would be?

Please provide a concrete case. For instance, run the strategy in the Historical Tester and pinpoint the place on the chart where the strategy should have made a trade but it did not. For this please provide print-screens of both the chart and the Historical Tester settings.

The image you posted in this thread is an example.
You've got a long entry for GBP/CHF and a short entry for AUD/USD running simultaneously.
This is not possible in my MT4 platform. Only one pair can run at a time.
Furthermore, historical testing this strategy shows a loss on each individual pair in JForex. However, the strategy is profitable on MT4. Maybe it's because MT4 is looking at all the pairs and only selecting the best one at that exact moment?
:::scratching head::::
(I can't attach a file. Getting a "Server Error" message when I attempt to do so)
