Hello Dukascopy i have an idea about the contest couse it's started to take the Bear trend if you dont see.
So my suggestion to you is

Make the contest registration this way. When you register you give your Mobile phone and when you registered SMS to be send with activation key or something.... so the mobile phone is in your database and person who wants to register second time must have second phone It's not the best idea but it will remove Newbs from exploiting the contest with registering 100 accounts and spamming..

Im sure you could afford it 1000 sms

So your suggestion is that only people with a mobile number can be allowed to join contest? Do you realize these are the same people with the ability to tap into mobile wifi all across the city and give their own comments? your solution is contradictory to the problem IMO, for example my g/f has a mobile phone also and by your solution you are actually making it easier for me to start a second account for comments.

The only viable solution is for the administrators to realize that popularity is in no way related to success in trading if you ask me. Until the popularity points structure is changed there will be no good options.

Meh, I have 5 mobiles. This is a horrific idea.

I think for every comment there should be spam button option below it to press.
Then if a person gets to many spam clicks is because they are doing something wrong and should be penalized.

I have losing trades closed sometimes and I get a comment saying great trade... or good luck +1 when it has been already closed.

The people that do that should be banned or get points off.

We are working on that function. Although we cannot announce a particular release date, we can affirm that it will be added.
To a large extent, we were pushed to that idea exactly due to the abundance of useless comments to trades.
