Sometimes my internet connection will drop. Without my doing anything the Dukascopy client will automatically reconnect which is fine. However the current volume bar will be far larger than its actual value (possibly double the size?).

I'm using the live client looking at the 10 Minute chart in a detached window. It's only affecting bars that were active at the time of disconnection. If I purge the cache files then the client will reopen with the correct volume for the bar.
