Hi,

I have been testing one of my strategies using Historical Tester. It is quite simple strategy with parameters: Optimization (6 currencies), Tick, Last year.

I did the same testing on two different PC computers:
1. Core 2 Quad, 2.5 GHz, Q8300, 5 GB RAM, Win XP Re 3 32-bit
2. Intel Core i7 920 2.66 GHz, 6 GB RAM, Win 7 Pro 64-bit

Testing last 24 hours on both computers (no difference).

My questions are:
- why such processing last 24 hours on both computers which have quite different specification. Why there is no difference? Is it because of Java language specification, your platform specification, other reasons?
- What computer or set of computers or software do I need in order to make testing faster - 10-times, 100-times?

Hi, at first sry for my bad english..I don't know maybe its some bug, but i have some mistake in my last trade.. in NZDJPY my trade has not closed, dont know why. Now u can see it.
BUY 0.001M NZD/JPY @ 65.920, SL 65.324 (60 pips), TP 66.384 (46 pips). Second high was 66.456 but my order not closed and i got - points. Ty
