Hello --
How would you suggest to place a limit buy order below the current price?
I am doing this via the JForex API.
This would be the equivalent of a stop entry buy order, but with the aim of minimizing slippage as for a limit buy entry order placed above the current price.
Thank you, Robotrader

Thanks for your reply. I don't think this page is answering my question though.
Let's say I am short and current price is 100.
I want to submit a buy limit entry with target price of 102.
How can I achieve this?
Thanks

Please provide your example strategy and pinpoint which place you don't know how to implement.

Thanks for your reply.
Current price is 99@101 and my position is flat.
If the price moves to 100@102, I want to place a limit order to buy at 102.
Apparently I can't set a limit buy entry order with target price above the current price.
However if I use a stop entry buy, the order will be a market order and therefore I can be filled at a price worse (higher) than 102.
Any help greatly appreciated.

By example strategy we mean the source code of how far you have got.
