Hi,

Would like to see the possibility of adding a comment or tag to trades, either when opening or (even better)after opening the position. I trade many different manual systems on the same pair, and need to quickly and easily distinguish between them in order to be able to manage stop losses etc.

You can distinguish strategy-created orders by the order label (i.e. Ext. ID). For chart trading you can add a chart object to mark some particular order.

Thanks for your very quick response. Both these are good ideas, but:

a) I don't use automated strategies.

b) I don't need these marked on the chart itself. I have enough on my chart

Ideally it would be very useful to have an editable column on the position tab.

Different trades require different SL management, so this feature would enable me to group trades by the system they belong too, therefore cutting out confusion about which trade belongs to which, and making SL/TP management much more efficient.

Also would then be able to identify and sort different systems from a position report. Very handy for spreadsheet analysis.


Anyway, just an idea.

You don't need a platform update to achieve this - a strategy can do this. For instance:
