This is a short describtion of my strategy ontick_maybb (ver 2) ;


Buy Order Conditions : Buy order can be triggered in two ways

1)

Some Default Settings:
-> Default Period---------- 15 mins
-> Default Tp ------------- 50 pips
-> Default Sl -------------- 30 pips
-> Default Trade amount - It is variable depending upon the account equity
-> Default instrument - EUR/CAD

Conditions :
a) If difference of low of historical ask candle ( shift 2 ) and lowerband (BB shift2) is more than 0.001 pips , go ahead
b) If difference of low of historical ask candle ( shift 1) and lowerband ( BB shift1) is more than 0.0005 pips , go ahead
c) If difference of low of ask candle and lowerband ( BB current) is more than 0.0007 pips , place market buy order.

2)
Some Default Settings:
-> Default Period---------- 15 mins
-> Default Tp ------------- 6 pips
-> Default Sl -------------- 6 pips
-> Default Trade amount - 3 Million
-> Default instrument - EUR/CAD

Conditions:
a) If difference of low of historical ask candle ( shift 2 ) and lowerband (BB shift2) is less than 0.001 pips, check next condition.
b) If difference of low of ask candle and lowerband ( BB current) is more than 0.0012 pips , place market buy order.

Sell Orders are vice versa.

This happening because strategy uses onCandle start point. So it works on every candle close.
Even if you are using LastTick variable in onCandle thread there will be data on candle close.
It is recommended to use Historical Tester and Demo Tests before starting strategy on contest.

Greetings , I did historical testing and I found no error in that . You may also try that .The first two charts attached with the topic are from historical testing .

According to historical test , major positions were opened on 6 th may . So , I have attached the chart as per the historical test which might help you find actual error. Please find the attached chart .

I would clarify:
It is recommended to use Historical Tester and Demo Tests BEFORE starting strategy on contest.
I can see on chart several positions at the same time, while it is prohibited be Contest Rules.

I am aware of contest rules so I wont make a mistake by opening two positions simultaneously . More than one positions are opened on the same candle that proves strategy is working well , by opening positions taking last tick as reference and not candle close . Whenever position is opened , its default settings play center role that is TP:6 & Sl : 6 . Once open position triggers stop loss or target price it creates room for strategy to repeat this cycle and thus you may see more than one position at the same level.

About historical test , I have tested this strategy several times before I submitted in SC . I showed you latest test conducted for your better understanding . If you insist I can give previous details too. A fast reply would be greatly appreciated .

You are right there is some error when strategy is running in real time , I wonder the use of historical tester.
