This is a shame. Could it be that you had to have sent an email during March or else it might have been grouped with disputes for April?
Anyway, congrats on your $500 prize. At least that's a good consolation for you.
I suspect a copier will finish at a higher place than me for April (CASPI), but I already submitted this dispute at the start of the month so we'll see what happens.
I won't be too upset if they let him keep his points, since I'm grateful for the prizes Dukascopy have awarded me. However it could affect others who would deserve to be a rank higher.
Antilochus,
Your views are valid. However, you can see that before January 2012, no one said that any one has copied anyone strategy, because it was in contest rule and still it is a rule that if you publish your strategy, any one can copy and run in contest. However, if 90% of your strategy code meets with other strategy, and if those who had created that strategy writes for copyright claim, then that participants popularity point would be deducted.
It is not about being upset for me, neither for you. However, we tries to follow Dukascopy fair play rule and when see that rules are not followed then report it. You can see that, if something is wrong and I notice it, I inform Dukascopy immediately.
Anyway, strategy builder should feel proud that they have those skills that they can create strategy and code it themselves. Therefore, "Shinga" don't feel upset. Be happy and make new strategy and test it next month. Because you should think that
"how many times, any one can copy your strategy and win."
Good Luck.
