Hello! I have a problem with the 4h candle, looks like VJF get candles from 00:00 UTC, but week start up from 22:00 UTC, as a result my calculations shifted by 2 hours. At the begining of the program i compare candle period with the global variance (4hr), then i get historical candle (4hr) but it's also shifted by 2 hours. what to do?

Hi,
VJF historical tester is set by default to GMT time therefore candles starts at midnight and not 22: this is a standard behavior.

amine_chourou - say please, how to set up 4 hour candles from 22 utc at week begining? such way 22:00-02:00, 2:00-06:00, 06:00-10:00 etc.. may be count four 1hour candles and then find OHLC for improvised 4hour candle? or you now another more simple way? main problem is - pivot indicator shows lines on time frame 22:00-02:00, 2:00-06:00, 06:00-10:00 etc... (becouse at JF by default start of the day is EET (UTC+2)) but VJF start of the day is UTC and trades in my case opens at 00:00, 4:00, 08:00 utc - 2 hours shifted i think you should add option in VJF where to start the day.

Hi, My previous answer was lacking details sorry for that. In Jforex, there is a setting to change day start time so that candles starts at 22 instead of 00 as you already noticed. In API, the default time is GMT based and so is Visual Jforex. I believe there is possibilities to change this in the strategy code manually but unfortunately I can't help on this matter. Better to check the folks in Automated trading section of this forum. Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately I can't help you with that. I recommend posting this in the automated trading section where our developers will advice.
Cheers
