How I can build a Strategy to start working at a specific time (hour, minute and second)?

For example, I want to build a strategy to start working on Monday 2nd December at 15:59:50 GMT

 And can you tell me how TradeEvent works?

Thank you
Motaz AlHamdan

Good day,

You may need to use GetTimeUnit block which basically will parse the needed time and returns: Day of the month, day of the week, hours, minutes or seconds. If you want to retrieve the 2nd December @ 15:59:50 GMT you'll need to get the day of the month, the hour, the minustes and the seconds.

Feel free to check the older posts or watch our video tutorials: several ones treats this topic.

TradeEvent start point is based on the last trade event generated: It will retrieve all the data related to the last trade and will update the lastTradeEvent variables dynamically

But if your main concern is only to trigger an event based on current time -i.e start a strategy- you could also use an IF block with the last TickTime as a first parameter and your needed time as a second parameter (make sure selecting "date & time" variable type)
PS: Visual Jforex undertake only local time
