Greetings. Use following example: Get 10 last candles, go through them, sum all close prices. For more info use Helper or short info in each block( i symbol in the box) https://www.dukascopy.com/swiss/english/ ... al/helper/

Thanks for your response Vadim.
I was reading through the helper manual as I am now just trying to get the close of the previous 8 candles. How would I go about achieving this?

Essentially I am attempting to find the open of bar shift 8 and the close of bar shift 4, and execute a buy if the open is greater than the close or a sell if the close is greater than the open.

Hello. Shift Integer parameter - defines the distance how far the Candle has shifted from the current one. Current Candle index is always 0. Candles Amount - defines the amount of candles how much candles need to be retrieved by the block. 2 vJFXRunner That would be a little bit different.
