Only persons aged 18 or over are eligible to apply for a registration in the Contest.
To participate in the contest, you'll need to:

1. Register in Dukascopy Community*. Registration is open until February 15th 2018.
2. Send and request a Valentine to/from the friends
3. Wait until your Valentine is approved

*Please note that only candidates who have entered true and correct profile information, such as name, e-mail and phone number, may be accepted as contest participants. By accepting these rules, candidates also agree that their contact data might be used to send newsletters and automatically generated notifications from the Community, including but not limited to e-mails and short text messages.

The contest is held from February 1st 2018 to February 16th 2018.

Valentine is a publication consisting of a Valentine's sticker and text message (mandatory attributes), as well as video, image or photo (optional).
To send a Valentine, enter the nickname of the recipient in the Community. One contestant can send only one Valentine to another contestant, but user is not limited in the total number of sent Valentines.
It is forbidden to insult the participants, including threats, roughness, personal insults, profanity, etc., as well as publish advertising content. Valentines and comments should transmit positive feelings and emotions. Moderators reserve the right to delete comments that do not meet the rules.

A referral link on the contest page is created for each user. Contestants are able to copy and send it via chat to a friend whom they would like to get a Valentine from.

1. The total prize pool of USD 11,500 is distributed among 25 winners of the Contest.
   10 000 USD will be distributed among 20 users with the most of valentine's cards in the following manner:
   
   • 1 place – 1500 USD
   • 2 place – 1000 USD
   • 3 place – 900 USD
   • 4 place – 800 USD
   • 5 place – 700 USD
   • 6 place – 650 USD
   • 7 place – 600 USD
   • 8 place – 550 USD
   • 9 place – 500 USD
   • 10 place – 450 USD
   • 11 place – 400 USD
   • 12 place – 350 USD
   • 13 place – 300 USD
   • 14 place – 300 USD
   • 15 place – 250 USD
   • 16 place – 200 USD
   • 17 place – 200 USD
   • 18 place – 150 USD
   • 19 place – 100 USD
   • 20 place – 100 USD
   
   1500 USD will be distributed among 5 users with the most creative valentine's cards in the following manner:
   
   • 1 place – 500 USD
   • 2 place – 400 USD
   • 3 place – 300 USD
   • 4 place – 200 USD
   • 5 place – 100 USD
2. The contest winners may withdraw their cash prizes and the profits generated from their cash prizes on their respective sub-accounts after meeting the minimum turnover requirement. The minimum turnover requirement constitutes 2.5 million USD for every 100 USD won in the contest.
3. Participants are allowed to withdraw funds in full only when there are no blocked prizes on the account. Profit can only be withdrawn when there are no blocked prizes on the account.
   If there are both blocked and unblocked prizes:
   • participants are only allowed to withdraw the sum of unblocked prizes;
   • only the positive difference between equity and sum of blocked funds can be withdrawn;
   • the sum of withdrawn funds can't exceed the sum of unblocked funds.
4. LIVE accounts which are credited with prize money are considered LIVE Prize accounts. LIVE Prize accounts can be credited only with cash prize money. Clients are not allowed crediting their own funds on this type of account.
5. If Participant does not have a live account with Dukascopy, then he/she should proceed to the live account opening procedure in a regular way. If Participant does not comply with live account opening requirements, Dukascopy reserves the right to cancel the cash prize.
6. Cash prizes may be credited only to a live sub-account open with Dukascopy in the name of the relevant Participant.
7. Prizes may only be credited to sub-accounts which are not linked to any Business Introducer. If needed, Dukascopy opens new sub-accounts not linked to the Participants’ Business Introducers, if any, and credit the prize(s) on such new sub-accounts.
8. If a Participant already has a Live account but has not yet any open sub-account, Dukascopy opens a sub-account in the Participant’s reference currency and credits the prize(s) on this sub-account.
9. Save contrary and valid preliminary written instruction of the Participant, Dukascopy converts the prize(s) into the currency of the sub-account on which the prize(s) shall be credited in application of the present “Prizes and Awarding Rules”. Such conversion is subject to fees as per the fee schedule posted on Dukascopy’s website.
10. In case of Participant's refusal to participate in promotional events, interviews, public announcements in connection with the Contest, Dukascopy has the right to disqualify such Participant and give the respective prize to another Participant.

1. Participants acknowledge and agree to make efforts to respect the principles of Fair Play.
2. Participants must refrain from any dishonest and unfair conduct even if these activities are not fully described within the framework of the Contest rules.
3. Such activities include, but are not limited to:
   • Registration of persons that are directly or indirectly related to other Participant
   • Various team tactics that include consolidation of Participants into a group with a purpose to get a statistical advantage on one of the accounts
   • Spamming in private messages and comments
   • Other activities used to get an unfair advantage over other Participants

Dukascopy reserves the right to use any kind of information posted by Participants within the framework of the Contest for its own purposes without prior coordination and approval from the authors. These purposes may include any kind of promotional activities or publicity campaigns, statistics collection etc.
Dukascopy reserves the right to disqualify a Participant, to change the Contest rules, requirements and awards, without prior notice and at any time and at its sole discretion.
We expect participants to be reasonable with what they post. The code of conduct shall not be violated. Please avoid the following topics in the Dukascopy Community:

• Pornography or sexually explicit content
• Racism or sexual discrimination
• Hate speeches
• Shocking and disgusting content
• Unlawful acts
• Infringements of intellectual property
• Harassment
• Threats
• Violation of privacy
