In 1202 an Italian mathematician completed his Liber Abaci ( Book of Calculation). He introduced to the modern western world Hindu–Arabic numeral system (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) as much more efficient way to solve different mathematical tasks in commercial bookkeeping, converting weights and measures, calculation of interest and other applications. That was Leonardo Pisano Bigollo, figlio (son of ) Bonacci , well known today as Leonardo Fibonacci ( 1170? – 1250? ) In some of his examples, he used a sequence (now known as Fibonacci numbers) noted by Indian mathematicians as early as the sixth century : 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377 ... where the every next number is sum of previous two numbers . Every next number is equal to previous one , multiplied by Φ (phi) =1.618 ( excluding the first 5 numbers )This is the GOLDEN MEAN , the Secret Code of the Nature .
