British industrial sector surges in June

Manufacturing sector of the United Kingdom showed a considerable increase in activity during the previous month, as the benchmark PMI Index for the industrial sector climbed to 57.5 points in June, up from 57 points a month before. The official data also registered a strong advance in a number of manufacturing orders, which have been at the highest level since December of the last year.
