The Greenback strengthened against the Canadian Dollar, following the Canadian Employment Change data release on Friday. The USD/CAD currency pair gained 17 pips, or 0.13%, to continue fluctuating in the 1.3130 area.
The Statistics Canada released monthly Employment Change data that came out better-than-expected of 31.8K, compare to forcasted 22.3K.
Janis Macukans, a senior analyst at Dukascopy Bank SA, stands: "The impact of the Canadian employment change data has insignificant effect, the main change on the currency pair was made by the US news, which came out at the same time."
