Hello Support, since the new JForex API 2.11 the Historical Tester hangs on "Getting prices before start time.." and the Chart window is clear! I have tested different strategies. Not one still works! Can you confirm that? many greetings... |

There seems to be a problem with the operating System. Windows 7 64bit - it works! Windows 8.1 64bit - does not work Windows Server 2012 64bit - does not work Support please! |

We could not repeat the problem on Windows 7 nor Windows 8.1 64 bit Is Java version one and the same in all cases? On which Java version is there a problem? Also, does the normal chart opens well? |

Thx for your answer... Java version on all machines are the same (Java 8 Update 25). The normal chart is ok! Only in Historical Tester the chart is empty! In LIVE-Mode the Historical Tester works just fine! (API 2.10.3) The only thing that is changed is the API version from 2.10.3 to 2.11 in Demo. I think it's not a problem with Java himself! And now? |

The same problem was on windows and linux. Just solved. The problem was in java 8 Update 25. You need to remove java and install previous version Java SE Runtime Environment 7u71. Everithing works fine. donwload from here https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 80261.html |

Well, I have the same problem and a colleague of mine too. I have Windows 7 (64bit) and when I've installed Java 8 Update 25 the Historical Tester has stopped working frozen on the start ("Getting prices before start time"). Luckily I was able to uninstall Java 8 and return to the previous version (Java 7 Update 67) and everything started working again. In our case it was the update to Java 8 to trigger the problem. For now we can work well with Java 7, but sooner or later we'll have to switch to Java 8 and the problem will be serious. Help please! |

2.41.1 is out on DEMO. Should be fine on Java 8 now. |
