This would allow a developer to pause backtesting at a specific date, and then resume after capturing test results and perhaps updating the strategy parameters. I submitted this request before but it was flagged as not part of the JForex API. On the contrary, I think it should be part of both the JForex API and the platform. |

Correction: the method to add should be ITesterExecutionControl.pauseExecutionAt(Date pauseDate). This would be more consistent with the current API design. |
