Force connection
If enabled, the option by-passes the timeout feature on connection loss, and will forces attempts to connect indefinitely. However, it does not guarantee that the connection will be restored.

To force the platform auto reconnect in background
If you already bypassing PIN activation, in Tools \ Preferences \ Advanced, check a box "Force connection". The platform will never display Login window and it will always try to restore a network connection.

Hi RoadRunner Once you have your static-IP registered to your LIVE account, is the force connection option available to be set programmatically through the JForex-API, or do you have to launch the JForex Client GUI with a LIVE account and set it through the advanced preferences there? The JForex Javadocs show an IPreference class and subclasses but none of them appear to have a forceConnection or forceReconnect setting to mess with. If it can be done, could you post a code snippet? regards f451
