We in the U.S. are really squeezed because we had Alpari and FXDD as the brokerages offering JForex access.
Alpari was lost, and clients moved to FXDD.
NOW FXDD's client base is being sold to FXCM
I know this may not be the right place to ask this question, but does anyone know whether it is planned that we in the U.S. will continue to have access to, and support for JForex platform ?
I can't believe that Dukascopy would not maintain this access for U.S. customers, so someone please reassure me that the FXCM transition will indeed be "seamless" for us as JForex clients in the U.S. ?

DUKASCOPY, PLEASE HELP US !!! FXCM appears to be discontinuing our usage of the JForex platform ! Who can we speak to so that we who are dedicated to JForex in the U.S. can continue to use it ?? Image is from an FXCM email to clients, stating that we will no longer have JForex usage. HyperScalper

FXDD has sold out and FXCM will NOT support U.S. traders to continue our JForex access !! I had a long talk with a well-meaning FXCM rep who was very polite, but acknowledged that FXCM would be happy to help us use their API and even gave me a demo account so I could see their system. THEY WILL NOT BE SUPPORTING JForex !!! This means that ALL U.S. residents are cut off from the best trading in the world -- Dukascopy..... WHAT RUBBISH AT FXCM. See the attached for FXCM spreads versus Dukascopy. They are just a "Dealing Desk" and they show how superior Dukascopy's ECN is for us traders. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Dukascopy, find a U.S. broker who will give us back our access ! Please.... I've written a desperate Plea to Dukascopy Partner Marketing to please find another broker in the U.S. who will partner with Dukascopy here in the U.S. HyperScalper

Is your restriction to access JForex from US technical (aka IP address block), or by US law you, as a US citizen, are not allowed to open a live JForex account?

It's U.S. restrictions on using a "foreign brokerage" if you are a U.S. resident. Now, if you are U.S. citizen who is non-resident it might be OK, but as a U.S. resident Dodd Frank legislation and regulators impose heavy restrictions which forbid a retail personal account with a foreign brokerage.
Offshore companies?... I'm seriously looking into what I could do with them. Pathetic, isn't it?
I am confident and hope that Dukascopy will take action to find us another brokerage in the U.S. who will "white label" and represent JForex Dukascopy access. I can't imagine they will not be trying soon to help us !!!

This was the Final Day of JForex trading in the U.S. as FXCM takes over the FXDD "white label" account holders, but denies them JForex access.
All of my clients have been advised to empty their accounts, and to wait for Dukascopy to find another U.S. broker to host the "white label" access program for JForex.
R.I.P. FXDD retail, and Alpari US retail as you were the only JForex brokerage choices we had...

It appears to us that Dukascopy is putting no effort into finding a U.S. White Label.
The FXDD white label arrangement was ideal because we did not have to respect that stupid FIFO rule on Order processing, and we received a statement which was made "FIFO compliant" each day.
Some idiotic U.S. brokerages actually impose these restrictions on the Order Entry platforms, when it is really a "back office" function to report FIFO compliancy.
I know this because MB Trading also does this, not restricting clients' order entry sequences, but providing a "FIFO equivalent compliancy" statement.
I've moved on from Dukascopy through an alliance with a European company. But I can't open a personal Dukascopy account any more, only corporate accounts through our company...
