Hi
I am trying to write an indicator that extends manually drawn rectangles to the right, up to the current bar.
However, I don't know how to get the indicator code to find manually drawn objects. For example: IIndicatorChartPanel.getAll() doesn't recognise manually drawn objects. Even the Wiki strategy example showing manual interaction with chart objects creates the objects in code, not manually.
I'd appreciate some suggestions.
F.y.i, this is how it would work: User draws a rectangle around a small group of candles. The indicator recognises that a new rectangle has been drawn, then modifies the second coordinate to extend it. Ideally, it would trigger when the rectangle is complete, but could be a key press or the next tick.
I'm OK coding the logic, I just need to know how to access manually drawn objects.
Cheers Tony

Hi!
You can't access manually drawn objects from Indicator API, use Strategy API and IChart.getAll() method to get all objects attached to chart.
