Hi,
just a short question about the volume / volume indicator: the volume that we see, is this only the volume traded on dukascopy or worldwide volume?

It seems to be "worldwide volume" in your terminology.

When I switch between the "ask" or "bid" price menu on the charts it shows different values on volume indicator. So what is this really? Deals within Dukascopy, SWFX, Hotspot+LAVA+Currenex+..................., something else ? Thanks

It is a volume of deals (contracts, millions) OFFERED on bid or ask price by our counterparties.
For example:
Bank#1 places OFFER 50 MIO EUR/USD at 1.3401 Bank#2 places BID 13.6 MIO EUR/USD at 1.3402 A client places OFFER 5 MIO EUR/USD at 1.34012 .. etc.
Thus our common volume
EUR/USD 55 MIO SELL / 13.6 MIO BUY

Hi support, I have some further questions about Dukascopy volume , please help us to understand it better. Regarding your previous post: ------------------ It is a volume of deals (contracts, millions) OFFERED on bid or ask price by our counterparties.
For example:
Bank#1 places OFFER 50 MIO EUR/USD at 1.3401 Bank#2 places BID 13.6 MIO EUR/USD at 1.3402 A client places OFFER 5 MIO EUR/USD at 1.34012 .. etc.
Thus our common volume
EUR/USD 55 MIO SELL / 13.6 MIO BUY ------------------
1. Does this volume include only limit orders like “Place Bid”, ”Place Offer” or orders at Market price (instant orders) too ? 2. Let's say we have a 1 min candle with span(high to low) 10 pips with 100 Mil. Bid Volume bar… - does this mean 100 Mil. placed offers on BID ( inside and outside this 10 pips range) for a period of 1 min. OR volume offered on Bid price in the range of 10 pips (in our case 100 Mil. for 1 min.)?
3. If a bank places now an offer 50 pips away from the current price – will it be included in the current volume? 4. If a bank places an offer for 100 Mil but only the half of it is FILLED (50 Mil.) and price goes back away… what sum will be included in the volume – 100 or 50 Mil.? 5. If orders at Market price (instant orders) within SWFX are not included in the volume, can we see somewhere?
Thanks in advance

1. This volume includes our counter-parties and our internal clients BIDs and OFFERs only. 2. 1 Min candle contains all ticks best BIDs and OFFERs within 1 minute range. 3. Yes, it will. It will be included in Total volume. In the platform in Market Depth table, only the 10 best BIDs \ OFFERs are displayed. 4. 50 MIO 5. No, you cannot.
