Hello,

Using the Visual JFOREX tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMoUy3KFBGQ I've prepared a small strategy (File in attachment) that would permit me to trail the SL to the break even position when the price reach 3,5 pips.

I've checked the strategy via Visual Jforex and it works very well, but when I run it within my DEMO account the trailing is not functioning.

Do you have any idea why I'm facing this problem and how to solve it.

thanks in advance for your help and support.
Best regards;
BilboFX

Greetings,

There is absolutely no problems with this strategy :)
It catches the opened positions information including Open price and initial SL price then if the "barrier" level is reached (by default it is 3.5 pips) then the SL will move according to the calculation of "First_SL_Trailing" variable which is one pip above the open price (in case of long position). In order to test and see this, I recommend you to decrease the value of the barrier variable so that the SL will move quickly

PS: the strategy works on GBP/USD by default.

Dear Amine,

Thank you for your reply and confirmation that the strategy is ok.
But the problem remain identical when ever I'm using it my DEMO account the SL isn't trailed when the Price reach 3,5 Pips.
I've try it in GBP/USD and in EUR/USD and in both cases no trailing :-(
Any help or idea to solve the issue is welcomed.

Kind regards;
BilboFX

Understood,

Please try the following: Barrier var = 1 pip or less
Test in Real time run in demo environment.
